Pathway for Business Impact: Partial Ownership Category

Pathway for Business Impact: Work Permit Category

💡 Be between the ages of 59 and 21.

💡 Must have a long-term (at least two years), full-time job offer from a PEI business for a skilled occupation at NOC Level B, A, or 0.

💡 If you are currently employed in PEI, you must have a valid work visa.

💡 Must be in good standing in the country they are currently residing in.

💡 Possess a 2-year post-secondary degree.

💡 Must have completed relevant coursework or at least 2 years of full-time job in the last 2 years.

💡 Must have enough money to move to Prince Edward Island.

💡 French or English language proficiency is required.

Pathway for Labour Impact: Critical Worker Category

Unskilled or skilled workers fall under the Critical Worker Category under the PEI PNP Labour Impact Pathway. The applicants must either be employed by a PEI company currently or have a PEI employer who will sponsor them for a Canada PR visa. Some of the professions in this area are housekeeping, general labor, truck driving, and food service.

Requirements:

➡ Be between the ages of 59 and 21.

➡ Must have a current work visa

➡ Must have at least six months of full-time employment experience for the PEI employer

➡ Must be in good standing in the country they are currently residing in.

➡ Have completed high school, at the very least

➡ Need to have enough money to stay in Prince Edward Island

➡ Must have a long-term, full-time job offer from a PEI employer in a position that qualifies at NOC Levels D or C for either skilled or unskilled positions.

➡ French or English language proficiency is required.

➡ The IELTS Test score of at least overall 4.0 bands with these threshold individual scores: Speaking 4, Writing 4, Reading 3.5, and Listening 4.5 can be used to demonstrate language competency.

Express Entry Pathway for the PEI PNP

The province of Prince Edward Island uses the Canada Express Entry system to draw potential immigrants to its provincial nominee program, or PEI PNP. PEI can send a NOI Notification of Interest to Express Entry participants whose profiles fulfil the standards the government is looking for.

➡ Have completed at least one year of full-time, skilled employment in Canada; this experience need not have been continuous. It must, however, have taken place within the last three years of the application date.

➡ Work experience must be from a NOC – National Occupational Classification – position with a skill level of B, A, or 0.

➡ Demonstrate language ability in either French or English at or above CLB’s Canadian Language Benchmark Levels 7 or 5, respectively, for NOC Skill Level A or 0 work experience and NOC Skill Level B job experience.

Candidates for the Federal Skilled Trades Program must:

Set no minimal standards for schooling
Have at least two years of full-time, skilled job experience in a skilled trade.
Possess a job offer for a skilled trade in Canada or a certificate of qualification in their trade issued by a Canadian authority.
Demonstrate language ability in either French or English at or above CLB-Canadian Language Benchmark Level 5 for listening and speaking and CLB-level 4 for writing and reading.
