BC PNP invites 155 Skilled Workers and International Graduates!
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Scheme (BC PNP) has just sent out fresh invitations for its Skills Immigration programme. This time, on August 29, 2023, 155 Skilled Workers and International Graduates were sent Invitations to Apply (ITAs). These serve as unique invitations that they can use to apply for immigration.
To be eligible for one of these ITAs, the people who were invited must have Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 60 and 88. The government can choose who to accept based on their credentials and skills using this method.
In fact, British Columbia held this kind of draw six times in August. In the most recent draw on August 22, 230 foreign graduates and skilled professionals obtained ITAs, but only if their scores were at least 60.

Category 1: Tech
– Total invitations given: 102
– People invited from streams: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including a special option called EEBC)

Category 2: Childcare:Educators and support staff in the early years (NOC 42202)

– People invited from streams: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including a special option called EEBC)
– Lowest score needed: 60
So, the BC PNP has been busy picking out people to invite for immigration, especially in the fields of Technology and Childcare. They look at the scores and qualifications to decide who should get these special invitations.
Category 3: Healthcare

Category 4: Additional prioritising professions (NOCs 31103, 32104)

With certain exclusions, the BC PNP grants ITAs to qualified candidates every week. Based on the requirements of the BC PNP’s application inventory at the time of the invitation round, the frequency, size, and date of the drawings are chosen.
